halloween highlights

Well, Halloween has come and gone again. Here is a quick re-cap of our evening last night...

Malia looks scary enough in this picture from her bed-head after her nap -- she could've just gone trick-or-treating like this!
But here she is in her real costume...a chef! She's missing an oven mitt, but isn't she cute? We even threw flour on her apron and her cheeks. And her whole custome could still be seen over her winter clothes!
Here is Joelle again as a bunny. Unfortunately, she only looked like a bunny from the neck up tonight (due to winter wear, of course, I wasn't going to make her wear her white tights). To see a picture of her costume in its entirety from her pre-school party on Monday, click here.
Posing in front of the pumpkins that Les and the girls carved in the afternoon.

Here is a shot of my favorite trick-or-treaters of the night! Yes, they came trick-or-treating at their own house!

And here is the display of all of their loot! They went around our whole bay and came out with more candy than they will ever need! It doesn't look like as much on this picture -- but trust me, they each got more than a whole ice cream pail full!
Good thing Joelle doesn't like chocolate -- that means that Les and I can sneak some treats of our own!
(not that we still don't have leftovers from the stash that we bought to hand out)

Very cute! Who ever thought there'd be a benefit to a kid not liking chocolate?!
