parent's secret #592: how to ensure your child gets a good night's sleep

On your family bike ride, get your four-year-old to pull the bike trailer which hosts the 35 lb two-year-old.

Incidentally, the next morning Joelle slept till 8:30am (she is normally up anywhere between 7:00am - 8:00am). Coincidence? I don't think so!

Haha, that's awesome! If we could only convince our 3-yr old that riding in the bike trailer is just as cool as biking, that would probably work here, too.

It's amazing how well they've been sleeping though, with all the playing outside they've been doing lately! Although in our case, they just fall asleep sooner in the evening; they still wake up about the same time as before.

Fresh air and hard work is a good combination, though, that's for sure! (haha, it even works on adults!!)

That is perfect! Since our weather has gotten nicer and Hailey has been playing outside more she is definitely sleeping better!

Awesome! I'll have to remember that when my girls get older! I'd kill for an 8:30 morning!
