she is definitely her father's daughter...

...since she sure didn't get this caterpillar-loving spirit from her mother!

(What is it with my daughters and their insistance to touch insects such as ladybugs, butterflies/moths and caterpillars?? Ich...)

oh that is the sweetest picture ever! i love the expression on her face and the way the light is hitting the caterpillar!!

soooo cool!

yea, i don't get the whole creepy crawly thing either. i am totally freaked by Jordan's frog obsession but i would NEVER let her know it...she just loves them so much and i would have to have any influence on her freespirited earth loving nature. i actually admire her for it.

how sweet! Ashlyn gets her fear of all things creepy crawly from me-- I guess I didn't do a good job of hiding it!

You forgot frogs. Did you see the one they had in the pail one day last week? The kids found one when we were camping and it hopped out of my nephew's hands right towards me and I actually let out a little scream. How embarrassing. But they're just so slimy!

Fun photo!

My daughter is the same . . . her favorite thing to do while we're fishing? Play with the worms. I don't do worms . . . I do minnows, but not worms. So whenever I need new bait, Princess baits my hook for me :-)

Me? I'd a FREAKED.

She and Lyndsy need to meet. I think they would be great bug catching buddies!
