photostory friday: not to be out-done

Hosted by Cecily and MamaGeek

"I'd like to make a disclaimer that I do not beat your kids," were the first words I heard when I went to my friend's house to pick up the girls after my day at work. Uh-oh -- what does that mean?

Well...apparantly, Joelle wanted to get in on some of this accident-prone business that's been going on around here lately (see here and here for Malia's injury-clad-escapades earlier this week), so she decided to have a head-on (or face-on, anyway) collision with the son of my friend who was babysitting for me.

It hurts me just to look at it -- and these pictures don't even do it justice. I really hope all of these accidental misfortunes have finally come to an end. It's been a rough week!

(Oh -- And Tuesday is Picture Day at school!)

Poor girl. Well, there's always retakes. Didn't Les have a shiner in his grad picture? Maybe she's just trying to be like her dad.

Have you considered helmets as part of their normal attire? Poor babies...and of course it happened right before picture day!

Goodness girl, that hurts! I mean it looks like it must. OUCH! Hope it clears up some before Tuesday - if not does your school do spring photos & you can just keep her in bubble wrap before those pictures. ;) Hope she feels better soon!

Oh no! Just in time for school pictures. Our school has re-takes about a month after taking pictures. Maybe yours will too. I hope she is feeling better.

Oh that's just awful. Man, she'll have a great shiner for school pictures. You should get her a shirt that reads, "If you think I look bad, check out the other kid!"

I hope that she feels better soon. Maybe you guys should lay low for just a bit, eh?

Oh my goodness. That looks awful. I guess it will either be a reminder for the rest of her life when she looks at her school pictures- or you'll sign her up for re-takes!
