one mom's trash...

...is another girl's treasure shrine!

Lately when one of Joelle's pairs of tights gets a hole in them...instead of throwing them in the garbage like I suggest -- she rather chooses to proudly display them by hanging them on the handles of her desk drawers.

I don't know if she's creating a museum of sorts...but I can just hear it now:

"And to your left you will see 3 pairs of beautiful tights that were worn with strong fashion sense by Lady Joelle in the early 2000's. As for the string of red monkeys hanging from these delicate pairs of leggings...well, nobody is quite sure of their significance -- but many fashion divas have made their opinions well known, and you can read about them on page 15 of your Museum Guide."

Do you think she would notice if I snuck them into the garbage one day when she's not looking? And more importantly -- Dare I risk it??

She would most definitely notice!! And I wouldn't risk it.

Think of the things she'll want to do 10 years from now- you know like date- and the tights seem pretty harmless ;)

Yeah, she'll notice. Daaang it! ;-) Isn't it a hoot the things that kids do? Seriously, you couldn't make this stuff up if you tried Andrea! :)

You would have to be really daring! But I do think the string of monkeys is a nice touch!

Well, seeing as you probably have no choice but to keep them for a while, maybe you can cut the tops and feet off and make legwarmers!!! How cool would that be?!

I totally would NOT risk it ;-) Girls notice when even the smallest seemingly insignificant thing is out of place in their rooms!

I agree with the majority. . . don't risk it. NOT worth it. Risk it when it's something you really want to "disappear"
