she's not crazy...but she's definitely starting to lose it

Her tooth, that is!

After coming home several times over the school year with news of her friends and classmates losing their teeth...Joelle is f-i-n-a-l-l-y the proud owner of one of those loose teeth herself.

We'll just see how excited she still is when it's time to actually yank that bad-boy out!

That's a big milestone!! I remember being one of the last ones in my class to start losing my teeth and I hated it.

Yanking the first one out should be no problem ~ it's all the other ones that'll be a challenge once she knows how it works!!!

*shudder* I'm SO not looking forward to that part as a parent, I barely survived it as a child! I've never had anyone (including myself) pull any of my loose teeth! It just grosses me out! I dunno know why.

We've never yanked. We just let them fall out on their own. Course, that means Emma is still upset that she lost her first tooth - we're not sure if she swallowed it or if it fell under the deck :)

But, really, it's not FINALLY at this age yet. It took one of Emma's friends until Grade 2 before she lost her first tooth - now THAT'S finally!
