living out her mother's dream

I always wanted to be a flowergirl when I was little; I think probably every little girl has that dream. But it never happened (although it happened to my sister, and I was extremely jealous!).

However, this weekend, my little Miss Malia got to live out my childhood dream by being the most beautiful flowergirl that I have ever seen!

Both her and the ring-bearer did an excellent job going down the aisle (while blowing bubbles) and I was so proud of my little princess. It was such a special honour and she was so proud of herself!

Here are some more pictures of the big day:

Thought I may beg to differ with her being the cutest ever - after all there were 6 adorable flower girls not that long ago - she may have to share the title :)

How sweet! She looks just great, as do the rest of you. It really is an honor to have your children part of someone's wedding. Just think, in 16 years, Malia can go back and see pictures and have a good laugh at the crazy fashions of 2009!

I viewed your flowergirl pictures with interest as my girls will be flowergirls in a couple of days, on the 13th. Malia's dress is almost exactly the same as theirs!:) She looks so sweet! Isn't it fun? Did you do her hair? I'd still like to see a better picture of you in that "little black dress". You guys look lovely.

She is just so beautiful! I'm so glad she enjoyed it so much. Was Joelle jealous? I never got to be a flower girl when I was younger either- I always wanted to, but no luck for me! I doubt Ashlyn will ever get to either and I just know she would be great at it!
