stage fright delight

This past week held very special events for both of my sweet girls. Wednesday marked Malia's pre-school graduation. After 2 years of her going to school every Thursday morning, it's time to get used to the idea of her being gone full days, 2-3 times a week in fall. YIKES!!

(Click on this collage to see it bigger -- the expression on Malia's face as she's walking down the aisle is so adorable!)

And Friday was Joelle's spring dance recital. She's been taking jazz classes this past school year, and while she may not be the most co-ordinated dancer in the class, she gives it her all, has made new friends, and just has fun. She did a fabulous job up on stage (and if you are my friend on Facebook you can even see the video).

(And yes...if you click on this collage to see it bigger, that is food on Joelle's face on that close-up. At least I noticed it and got rid of it before the actual recital!!)

My eyes held tears for both of these events as I reveled in their milestones/accomplishments with tremendous pride.
