it's better to give

I was going to wait until December 1st to post this, but I just couldn't wait!

I have decided to host my 2nd ever give-away on this blog - featuring hand-made items by yours truly. That's right, I said items...meaning there is more than one prize to be won. Two, in fact!

I fell back in love with crocheting earlier in fall when I made myself this delicious cowl that I found on Pinterest. I have been continuing to make some items here and there since then, and last week I decided I was going to make two cowls to give away as gifts to a couple of my blog readers.

So I did...and here they are!

I don't claim to be a professional by any means, but they are warm and cozy and were made with love! I even snapped a few pictures of the three different ways you can wear them.

In this first picture, it's just wrapped around my neck twice, giving lots of cozy warmth when you go out on those cold winter days.

Here is the red one just worn hanging down.

And while I'm not convinced that this look works for me personally, they can also be worn like this - wrapped once around the neck and then brought up over the ears and head when you have to go outside and don't want to wear a toque pressed flat on your head to wreck your hair but still keep your ears warm.

So there you have it! Two scarves up for grabs for two of my readers. And since this is a Christmas gift, there are no strings attached. No need to jump through any hoops, ask me any questions, "like" anything anywhere or re-post to get entry entries {and actually again, like my last give-away, I prefer that you actually don't re-post anywhere as these are gifts for my readers, not just random people who are stopping by just for a freebie}.

All you need to do is leave a comment so that I know you want to enter to win. And it doesn't matter if you've been reading my blog from the beginning or since yesterday. Or if you comment regularly or if this will be your first time.

If you read this blog, you are most welcome to enter!

Comments will be accepted until next Wednesday (December 5th) at 11:59pm and I will make the random draw on Thursday.

Those are beautiful!

I really wish I could force myself to sit down and learn to crochet. So many beautiful things to be made ~ to keep or to give! I've tried a few times, but something isn't clicking... :(
